So I went for a check on my veins today and as it turns out they decided to do my entire prenatal workup. Fine with me, not so fine with Josh who was in the waiting room with Mariah for like 45 minutes. (Sorry sweetie :)) As of right now, everything looks good. Veins are ok, all my tests are normal/negative, and I am measure around 8-9 weeks (which matches my dates as well). It was still too early to hear a heartbeat, but to ease my anxiety, Liz aka "the doctor of my dreams" gave me a prescription for an early ultrasound. So, knock on wood, I will have great news next Monday by noon!!!!!!!!!!!
After leaving the doctor we all went to Chuck E Cheese. I don't know who likes it more there, Josh or Mariah, nut it doesn't matter because they both had a GREAT time. Mariah more for the games and Josh more for the pizza!
We then had to take Mariah to the doctor as well :( Last night I found a lump on her neck, and being the paranoid person I am, obviously panicked. I talked to the pediatrician this morning, and she agreed to see me this afternoon. Mariah was so good. She talked to and entertained the doctors and nurses. She let them do everything without crying once! After being there for an eternity... or an hour.... we found out that she has strep throat :( She's never been sick before, so this kinda sucks! She is on antibiotics, but that means no school for her tomorrow. She will spend the day with Oma while Josh and I go to work. I am sure trying to give her medicine will be a blast... it will be our "new thing for today!" Wish us luck!
